Every once and a while, a story comes out of nowhere that I manage to scribble down before it disappears. Out of those, once every couple of years or so, I get one that I'm truly proud of.
This one might knock them all out of the park.
I love it. Next in Line will definitely be an ongoing thing, but this one will still probably be the best one, which is a good way to start if you ask me.
Anyways, compiled from twitter into a more readable format, here's Name Day.

Sweetsong at her best: 2015 highlights reel.
So there's a lot going on, and we'll try to get all the info to you soon, folks, but in the meantime, Sweetsong and I have gone back through the many, many, MANY photos we've shot this year, and would like to share with you our favorite pictures of that Photogenic Sweetheart we all know and love.
If you have any questions, feel free to hit up the comments, and we can tell you all about any of the shots.
These shots have come from a variety of places, times, and moods. A lot of them have been shown on my twitter (sort of my main base of operations these days, and you can find it here), and some of them are buried in blogposts that never got finished for one reason or another. Also included is the painting commissioned from Agnes Garbowska, who is the awesomest and you should go check her out.

so without further ado, here's our Heroine at her finest.
...after the break, of course.

Happy Holidays!
Oh.
um...
Hey there.
Listen, sorry we forgot about you guys. We've been...well, we've got a lot planned for the new year, so we've been real busy with all of that.
We feel awful about forgetting though, so how about a story, fresh off the presses for all you MLP fans?
This one's called Restless Couriers.
We're quite proud of it. The Sombraverse is still on its way, but here's something to fill the gap in the meantime.
Happy Holidays! See you soon.

O Weird World: Cadejo's fantastic day.
I know reposting things here from my twitter is self-indulgent at best, and horrid levels of tacky at minimum, but today I pulled off a hat-trick in Tweetstorms. the first and third will be compiled into normal text, but the second one loses punch if not presented in its original format.

FROM THE VAULTS: Cadejo's published article on Ponies, during his college years.
A bit of preface: I have been on the MLP bandwagon long enough that I can get away with calling myself one of the OG Bronies. #represent
Someone on Skype got me nostalgic about it, so here's an article I wrote back in college about 8 months after I became a brony (so around November 2011) about the show.
I'm not changing anything, even the references to my then-beginning problems with alcohol, so as to preserve my feelings at the time, and not give into the temptation to rewrite it completely.
So, here, after the break, unedited and unretractable, is

Fresh from the presses:
SO, my dear readers, we have a story already on its way to you. It's called Crooked Stems. It's a little rough, seeing as we didn't have time to hit up folks for proper pre-reading before the deadline for NaPoWriMo, but we're still proud of it!
More than that, we also have a Multi-volume work headed your way. Cadejo nearly crapped himself with joy over the Sombra Timeline in the finale, and as a result we've got a whole universe to fill. We've got some 3500 words into it already, and it's been a while since the gang has been so inspired.
Our rough count at this time for NaPoWriMo is 11.5k or so, which is a huge improvement over the last couple attempts in previous years, all of which add up to zero.
We'll keep you posted! In the meantime, check the rough version of 'Crooked Stems' and keep an eye out for more!
...actually don't. that sounds painful.

weekly reminder I'm not dead.
Not going to tease and say I've got anything coming down the pipe directly, but now that I'm getting a handle on the overnights I'm starting to have time again, so I wouldn't rule it out, either.

reminder that when I disappear in about 5 days or so, I'm not dead, it's just fallout 4.

if you're ever wondering what I'm up to in the day-to-day, (or, C&L forbid, you worry about me for some reason) you can always find me on twitter. It's a lot easier to post random thoughts that don't quite add up to a decent post.
also, I am so freaking stoked, man. I get a pip-boy.
